The Collegedale Parks and Recreation Department is inviting children ages five and older to take part in an outdoor adventure as “Creek Explorers” this Wednesday.

Beginning at 11 a.m., participants will have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Wolftever Creek while learning about local wildlife and native plants. The hands-on program is designed to encourage curiosity, discovery and appreciation for the environment through guided exploration along the creek.

Creek Explorers is open to children ages five and up, and offers a fun and educational way for families to connect with nature during the summer season.
