The First Ever "All American Hot Dog Eating Contest" will be held on Saturday, July 4 at Steve Ray's Midnite Oil and Owls Nest BBQ Supply in Collegedale.

Five competitors - Shaun Kesler, Billy Holland, Jason Flowers, Shawn Williamson and Donnie Hall, will compete in a three-minute format to see who can eat the most plain, hot dog and buns combo.

The action starts at 10 a.m. am July 4. Afterwards, everyone will be treated to free hot dogs with all the trimmings.

Also, the big screen television will be available to watch the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest LIVE on ESPN from Coney Island at the corner of Surf and Stillwell.

Joey Chestnut is the reigning champion.
