Chattanooga's podcast community is getting a new home on the radio.
Beginning this Saturday, The Nooga Podcast Hour will air every Saturday morning at 5 a.m. on Talk Radio 102.3 FM, bringing some of the area's "most engaging conversations and personalities to traditional radio listeners."
Officials said, "Produced by the Nooga Podcast Network, The Nooga Podcast Hour powered by Nutrition World hosted by Clint Powell is designed to introduce listeners to the wide variety of podcasts being created right here in Chattanooga.
Each week, the show will feature conversations covering topics such as true crime, health, business, culture, politics, faith, history, law enforcement, current events and much more.
"The program will feature content and conversations from a wide variety of local hosts and guests, including David Roddy, Jeff Styles, Eric Buchanan, John Ballinger, Jason Smith, Ed Jones, Cady Kuhlman, Cameron Parker, Rhonda Thurman, Kayla Balinger, Sam Bruner, Michelle Hecker Davis, Garry Thurman, Matt Patty, Tom Rowland and many more.
"Featured content will come from podcasts including During the Break, The CrimeCast, Of-By-and For the People, The Jeff Styles Show, Oath & Pledge, Sipp-N-Chatt, More Than Money, The Report Card and many others from across this area.
"No two weeks will sound the same. Some episodes will feature a roundtable discussion on local and national headlines, culture, business and everyday life. Other weeks will showcase highlights from multiple podcasts, while some broadcasts will feature a complete podcast episode. Every show is designed to introduce listeners to new voices, fresh perspectives and conversations happening throughout the Chattanooga community."
"We've spent years building a network of local podcasts with hosts who are experts, storytellers, business leaders, journalists, law enforcement professionals, educators and community voices," said Mr. Powell, founder of the Nooga Podcast Network. "This show is an opportunity to bring those conversations to an even broader audience and help people discover podcasts they may never have known existed."
"Whether you're interested in true crime, local politics, faith, business, health, history or simply hearing great conversations from people who call Chattanooga home, The Nooga Podcast Hour offers something different every week," officials said.
Tune in to The Nooga Podcast Hour every Saturday at 5 a.m. on Talk Radio 102.3 FM.
