Electric motorcycle start-up Raptee.HV has expanded into Karnataka with the launch of its first experience centre in Bengaluru, marking the company’s first retail expansion outside its home market of Chennai as it looks to scale its presence across India.

The Bengaluru outlet follows the commencement of customer deliveries in Chennai earlier this year and forms part of the company’s phased retail rollout. The experience centre will provide customers with product demonstrations, test rides, vehicle deliveries and after-sales support.

The start-up said Bengaluru was chosen as its second market owing to the city’s mature electric vehicle ecosystem, growing public charging infrastructure and strong community of technology-conscious motorcycle enthusiasts.

“Everything we’ve built — our high-voltage platform, our engineering, our approach to customer experience — carries that Chennai spirit of solving hard problems the right way. We chose Bengaluru as our first expansion market because it’s home to some of India’s most informed EV riders,” said Dinesh Arjun, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Raptee.HV.

Raptee.HV’s flagship T30 is positioned as India’s first production electric motorcycle built on a 240V high-voltage architecture, bringing electric car technology to the two-wheeler segment. The motorcycle is compatible with the CCS2 charging standard, enabling access to more than 30,000 public charging points across the country while also supporting fast home charging.

Priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the T30 offers a claimed real-world riding range of 150 km and can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in under 3.5 seconds. The motorcycle is backed by an eight-year or 80,000-km battery warranty, along with a three-year vehicle warranty, roadside assistance and dedicated service support.

With Bengaluru now operational, Raptee.HV said it will continue expanding its retail and service network across key Indian cities as it seeks to make its high-voltage electric motorcycle platform available to a wider customer base.
