Simba and Angie declared their love for one another this week, but one star has issued a brutal verdict

A former Love Island bombshell has shared their brutal four word verdict on Simba and Angie's developing romance.

As the chaos continues in the luxury villa, Angelista and Simba appear to grow from strength to strength after Casa Amor's explosive revelations. Previously, Simba brought Mara back from Casa Amor, leaving Angie single and vulnerable.

However, upon their return, Simba continued to struggle with his feelings towards Angie, finding himself in a love triangle. But with Angie close to calling things off between them, he decided to cut ties with Mara and try to make it up to the OG star.

After realising his growing feelings, he issued his apologies to the group before sitting everyone down around the firepit and reading from his notes everything he loved about Angie.

But in a dramatic turn of events earlier this week, one former bombshell issued a brutal four word verdict on their romance. Mara, who did not hold back in berating Simba for his actions, appeared on the latest edition of Aftersun where she was asked on her thoughts on Angie and Simba.

Host Maya Jama said: "Do you think Angie and Simba will work on the outside Mara?"

After an audience member shouting to "tell the truth", Mara shook her head and replied: "I don’t think so."

Last night (July 13), Simba and Angie took their relationship even further as they admitted their love for one another. He said: "I know where my head's at, I know where my heart's at.

"There's that saying that home is where the heart is and my heart is with you. We've laughed, we've cried. I didn't think I'd come here and meet a girl like you and have these type of feelings that I'm feeling."

He then added: "The way I'm feeling right now, I thought I'd take you to terrace and tell you that I love you, I genuinely love you."

Viewers at home were stunned at Simba's redemption arc, taking to social media to share their support for the couple. Over on X, one person wrote: "Yes Simba messed up but he put in WORK to win Ange over again. I hope they win."

Another said: "Simba and Angelista got me again I’m sorry." A third added: "Bro simba and ang need to win they both honestly deserve it."

Over on Instagram another penned: "I fear I’m MOVING for Simba and Angie again they're cute."
