Palace of FarmersBy hhgygy(2025-10-27)The Palace of Farmers is a building in the historical center of Kazan , in the Vakhitovsky District . Built between 2008 and 2010, it is the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan , the Main Veterinary Directorate, the Republican Agro-Industrial Center for Investment and Innovation, and a number of subordinate organizations. The shape of the building and its borrowings of Empire and Classical architectural elements are reminiscent of the Petit Palais or one of the wings of the Hofburg in Vienna , and from the side, the Vittoriano in Rome . The author of the architectural project, Leonid Gornik, asserts that the building is not eclectic , neo-historic , or neoclassical , but rather conforms to the canons of Classicism.
