Tottenham showed their mettle on what has been a great night for the English clubs in Europe. Ange Postecoglou deserves immense credit for the way his side battled, dealt with setbacks and eventually progressed to the next round.
Victory keeps hopes of claiming a trophy in his second season alive. More importantly, it ensures Spurs still have something to play for this term.
Spurs will face the tough test of Frankfurt in the next round but that's tomorrow's problem. Tonight, fans of the north London club will rejoice after their side came through a stern test.

Joe Cole, Ex-Chelsea, TNT Sports:
Cole Palmer will have loads of spells like this in his career. He just needs to be calm and smooth, he looks like the coolest man in the room.
It could be affecting him but the dry spell will end, hopefully on Sunday against Arsenal.

Postecoglou's men are the first side in major European competition history to have five players under the age of 21 net in the same season.

Joe Hart, Ex-Premier League keeper, TNT Sports:
Tottenham had some positive moments, some difficult moments. If they want to go further in this competition they're going to need a more complete performance.
It was all about tonight, scoring those vital goals, staying in the tie and winning the game.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Chelsea, TNT Sports:
Nice to get a lead in the first leg coming to Stamford Bridge and we are safely into the quarters.
I saw a gap and managed to jinx through. I thought I would pick my spot and luckily it came off, I practise [that type of finish] it after training and was happy to produce it in a match. In the second half, we got a few more chances and we got a goal.
It would be stupid of us to say we can't win this. It's not arrogant from us but we just know the quality that we have in the squad. Copenhagen are a good team but we are happy to be through.

The English teams are THROUGH! So we get to do this all over again next month! Man United and Spurs had their seasons on the line tonight and they both came through.
We're destined for a United vs Spurs final aren't we? Elsewhere, Rangers have been taken to extra time against Fenerbahce. Jose Mourinho isn't ready to give up his claim for the trophy just yet!

Elsewhere, Chelsea progressed into the quarter-finals of the Conference League but it wasn't a comfortable night for the Blues. Dare I say slightly concerning.
The Danish side had 10 shots on goal but could only find the target once and Chelsea toiled even after bringing on the likes of Palmer, Nkunku and Cucurella.
None of that matters now, they're into the last-eight where they will meet Legia Warsaw or Molde.

SPURS ARE THROUGH!
Massive credit to Ange Postecoglou and his team after that mammoth effort. They knew it would be a stern test against the Dutch side and it certainly panned out that way.
Spurs had to dig deep but you could see how much they are when their key men are fit and firing. Vicario was great in goal and AZ didn't have a sniff until Van de Ven was taken off.
Bigger challenges await in this competition but for now, there is still something to play for.

One last set piece for AZ and that means the keeper is up. It's now or never.

The visitors were hoping for more and the home side were desperate for less. AZ are running out of ideas now. Spurs have done a stellar job managing the last few minutes of this game.
Last push now, lads!

Is that you, Tottenham? Calmly playing out the clock?
I can't believe my eyes but Spurs are doing a good job of it at the moment. Vicario has claimed a couple of crosses and the defence is holding firm for the time being. Not long left to go.

There's probably going to be another 10 minutes to play here and I can't shake the feeling that another goal is going to be scored. Postecoglou has replaced Bergvall with Ben Davies but AZ continue to look threatening.
It only takes one chance and they'd definitely get at least one.
