A New Jersey woman accused of filming vile sexual assaults against a child was caught after police linked her to a bizarre leg tattoo depicting 'boobs,' according to cops.

Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, of Little Egg Harbor, allegedly recorded a 14-second Snapchat video of herself sexually abusing a young girl under the age of 13 who had been entrusted to her care, according to Jersey Shore Online.

Her alleged crimes came to light after she returned a cellphone containing the footage to a former roommate who contacted authorities, police said.

Investigators later found several more videos involving Cranmer and the victim hidden in her Snapchat Memories folder.

Court documents said Cranmer could be heard laughing and making comments toward the victim during the encounter. 

Cranmer was identified by police through her voice, the bathroom where the video was recorded and a distinctive 'boob' tattoo etched on her leg, according to investigators.

On Tuesday, she was arrested and charged with several felonies, including sexual assault, manufacturing child sexual abuse material, possession of such material and endangering the welfare of a child. 

The suspected pedophile was booked into the Ocean County Jail in Toms River without bail, where she remained in custody as of Friday.

The investigation into Cranmer began on May 20 after state and local authorities were alerted, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Jersey Shore Online. 

Investigators first spoke with the mother of the alleged victim, identified in court documents only as Ms H, who said Cranmer had previously babysat her son. 

She explained that the arrangement ended after she learned about the video from Cranmer’s longtime friend, identified in the affidavit as Ms P, and became concerned about the recording and her child’s behavior. 

Ms P revealed that Cranmer had been staying with her for about three months and had occasionally babysat her own young daughter. 

She told authorities that she had purchased Cranmer a cellphone as a birthday gift but later asked her to move out amid growing concerns about what she described as 'mental health issues,' according to the documents. 

Cranmer was also asked to leave the gifted cellphone behind, which she placed in the mailbox, per the filing. Ms P told police she later discovered the alleged sexual abuse video saved on the device.

She said she immediately saved the 14-second clip to Cranmer’s Snapchat Memories so it would not be deleted, logged out of her estranged friend’s account and turned the phone over to police. 

Ms P told detectives she was confident the person in the video was her former roommate based on her distinctive tattoos, voice and the background of the home where it was taken. 

With Ms P’s consent, officers examined the phone before obtaining search warrants for the device and Cranmer’s Snapchat account, where they uncovered additional disturbing evidence. 

A forensic examination allegedly uncovered multiple Snapchat videos involving Cranmer and the young girl, with some of the recordings saved on May 6.

She allegedly posted at least one of the videos publicly on Snapchat.

Following the joint investigation, detectives determined that the evidence supported the charges approved by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office on July 7. 

It was not immediately clear whether Cranmer has an attorney. 

According to her LinkedIn profile, she works in the medical field as a clinical coordinator at a foot-and-ankle office. She is a graduate of Pinelands Regional High School.
