The facility manufactures microelectronics, integrated circuits, and power electronics that are heavily utilized in the Russian military-industrial complex.
On June 22, 2026, the facility was struck by high-precision, air-launched cruise missiles (widely assessed as Storm Shadows) fired by Ukrainian forces. The attack caused severe structural damage and triggered large fires at the site, with follow-up reports indicating at least five fatalities, dozens of injuries, and damage to surrounding civilian infrastructure. The destruction of this production capacity is expected to significantly degrade Russia's ability to manufacture and maintain its precision-guided weapons.
