The sale features summer dresses, pinafores, polo shirts, trousers and more
We may well be approaching the end of the school year but for those wanting to stock up for September, a popular uniform sale is back this week. The sale is taking place at the Rebuild With Hope store in Wigan and will sell every school uniform item for just £2 each.
It includes everything families need, whether it's trousers, skirts or pinafores; summer dresses, or polo shirts. Aimed at helping parents struggling with the cost of living crisis, it launched last year, with pop-ups also taking place across Greater Manchester.
Louise Atherton, chief executive and founder of Rebuild With Hope, said the initiative was inspired by the charity's work in disadvantaged communities where 'people can't afford the basics any more'.

She said the charity gets lots of school uniform donated, but families felt better buying the items, rather than accepting them for free, so the sale seemed the best idea.
The sale launches on Friday at the Wigan store between 10am and 4pm and will run again on Saturday during the same hours.
It will then continue throughout the summer, opening Thursdays and Fridays 10.30am to 2.30pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm.
Sharing details of the event on social media, Rebuild With Hope said: "If you’re planning to stock up, please bring your own shopping bags, especially larger bags, as many people buy multiple items.
"Miss the launch? Don’t worry! Our School Uniform Sale will continue with regular opening times. A huge thank you and well done to our amazing team for all their hard work getting the store ready - it looks fantastic!
"We can’t wait to see you there! Please like, share and tag your friends and family so no one misses out."
The store is next to the Rebuild with Hope Community Hub inside the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre, Wigan.
We featured the store earlier this year when we visited and found the place packed with big brands like M&S, Ted Baker, Skechers, Seasalt Cornwall and more.
Offering high street brands with discounts of up to 70%, it sells homeware, adults clothing, gifts, accessories, toys, children’s clothing and a whole lot more.
All the products in the main store are new, some of them seconds, while the separate Community Hub charity shop sells preloved products and is also home to a Book Cycle, a Cycle Project - giving pre-loved bikes a new lease of life - and a Repair and Revive clothing repair service.
