The Manchester mum said she has 'never had a haul like this before'
The food shop is costing families more than ever before so it's no surprise that savvy shoppers are looking for ways to keep costs down. It's what Manchester mum Jo Rourke spends most of her time doing as she seeks out bargains and money-saving tips to share on her Thi S MumCooks Facebook page.
And it was on there that she's shared one of her best ever bargains after managing to get an £83.10 food haul for just £1.73.
The mum-of-three regularly uses the Too Good To Go app which lets you pick up bags of food that's close to its sell by and use by dates from places like Starbucks, Costa and Greggs, as well as supermarkets such as Aldi and Morrisons.

This time it was a bag from Gail's bakery she managed to buy and she couldn't believe how much she got inside it.
In more than five years of running her page, Jo told her followers she has 'never had a haul like this before' and said the bag 'weighs a tonne'.
It should have cost £7.50 on the app, but with some vouchers she had, it came to just £1.73.
Describing it as 'like a Mary Poppins bag', she said: "I've never in my life seen such a good Too Good To Go bag... that is just insane and I paid just £1.73."
A video she shared shows her emptying the bag to reveal the full contents listed here...
Captioning her video, she said: "I have NEVER seen a TGTG bag like this before, it is quite incredible. This bag of food would have cost £83.10 if bought, full price in the shop.
"The TGTG bag price was £7.50 but I had some money off vouchers so I paid just £1.73. I don't think I will ever see a bag as good as this again."
She then shared a photo showing what each of the items would have cost in store at Gail's, including the loaf for £4.90 and the harissa chicken pomegranate freekeh & garlic yoghurt salad for £9.50.
