Long synonymous with sophistication, it seems only fitting that Aspinal of London should make an appearance on the promotional tour of The Devil Wears Prada 2. 

The British heritage brand is a royal favourite, worn by the Princess of Wales, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, and Queen Camilla - and its appeal has now extended to Hollywood, with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep both stepping out with the coveted bags.

The actresses each chose the label's signature Midi Mayfair for photocalls in New York. Anne opted for a bold cherry ombré version, while Meryl carried a classic black style, reminiscent of one of Kate's most-worn designs. 

The vintage-inspired handbag is crafted from full-grain Italian leather and finished with elegant gold hardware, including Aspinal's signature shield lock.

Princess Kate has been a loyal fan of the Midi Mayfair for years. She first carried the lilac version back in 2018, followed shortly after by the patent black iteration - a style she has repeated on numerous occasions since.

Anne Hathaway was dressed to impress at The Devil Wears Prada 2 NYC Cinema Society screening, opting for a striking leopard print coat paired with bold red accessories. 

She completed the look with the Midi Mayfair in Deep Shine Cherry Red Ombre Croc, adding a glamorous, statement finish.

The standout style is designed to turn heads, bringing instant interest to any ensemble - day or night.

What I love about this bag is how considered the craftsmanship is: it's handcrafted from full-grain Italian leather sourced from a century-old artisan tannery.

Meryl Streep paired a tailored pinstripe suit with the Midi Mayfair bag in Black Patent Croc during promotional events in New York. 

I've always felt the black croc finish is such a classic, timeless choice - it never goes out of style. 

Meryl carried hers by the top handle - just as Princess Kate does -  but it can also be worn crossbody thanks to its removable chain strap.
