A woman is demanding more than $10 million in damages from Renee Zellweger and her boyfriend after claiming she was injured on the patio of their California rental home.

Tracey Belland originally sued the actress, her British partner Ant Anstead and the home's owner, Glenn Wilson, for pain, suffering, emotional distress and medical expenses in February, with TMZ reporting the figure on Thursday.

The plaintiff previously claimed a 'thin rug had been placed over a hole, which caused her to stumble over the uneven surface, resulting in an injury to her right knee' at the property in Laguna Beach in August 2024.

Wilson has filed a cross-complaint arguing that Zellweger, 57, and 47-year-old Anstead should be financially liable, and he also claimed Belland should not be able to sue since she filed for bankruptcy.

A source close to the two-time Oscar winner told the outlet she lived at a nearby property and Anstead, host of TV show Born Mechanic, was the one renting the home in question.

On April 23, Anstead celebrated his fifth anniversary of dating Zellweger by sharing a snap from when they met on the set of his HGTV/Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU: Joyride in 2021.

'How it started,' the 6ft2in Englishman - who boasts 467,000 Instagram followers - wrote.

'Happy five-year anniversary, my beautiful lady! Hands down the best human I know! Luckiest boy! I love you my Ren.'

He has a six-year-old son, Hudson London Anstead, whom he had during his 21-month marriage to his second ex-wife, Christina Haack, which ended in 2021.

The silver-haired presenter is also father to two children - daughter Amelie, 22, and son Archie, 19 - from his 12-year marriage to ex-wife Louise Anstead, which ended in 2017.

Meanwhile, the blonde Texan previously romanced artists like Doyle Bramhall II, Bradley Cooper, Kenny Chesney, Jack White, Matthew Perry and Jim Carrey.

Zellweger wrote and directed an animated short called They last year.

The Only Murders in the Building actress was previously attached to produce and star in Peacock's Second World War Air Force series Avenger Field as well as star in Michael Patrick King's revenge flick The Back Nine, but both projects appeared to have stalled.

Anstead is hard at work hosting the 18-episode third season of Born Mechanic, which premieres this summer on Quest, Hulu and HBO Max.

The former police constable is also every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Frenchic Paint and Med Lounge.
