Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing headed out on a family stroll with their baby son Ziggy on Sunday after opening up about his 'terrifying' birth.

Sophie, 31, looked happier than ever as she was seen walking with her husband, 37, and five-month-old through London's Notting Hill.

The Made In Chelsea star wore a pair of denim jeans, a white shirt layered under a brown bomber jacket, black ballet flats and a New York Yankees cap.

Sweet entrepreneur Jamie wore a white T-shirt, black trousers, colourful trainers and a green 'Candy' cap as he pushed Ziggy's Silver Cross pram through the streets of the capital.

The family seemed to be enjoying a low-key weekend stroll, shopping for essentials at Daylesford Organic and picking up a bouquet of flowers for their newly-renovated home.

The family outing comes after Jamie revealed he was 'terrified' and felt powerless when Sophie was rushed for an emergency Caesarean section while giving birth to Ziggy.

He told the Daily Mail he could never have anticipated the sudden complications during Sophie's labour, describing it as 'the scariest thing I've ever been through.'

Sophie, who gave birth at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, where Kate Middleton welcomed her children, admitted she was 'really scared' as it wasn't the birth she had planned, but said she is grateful their son Ziggy arrived safely.

Jamie said in an interview with the Daily Mail: 'From my point of view, it was the scariest thing I have ever been through in my entire life.

'Watching your wife go through that, the person you love, and this baby, and you have no control. It was the most terrifying thing ever. Nothing can prepare you for that.'

'The complications were really scary', Sophie added. 'Obviously, it wasn't the birth I planned or necessarily wanted, it was scary, but birth is different for every woman and however you do it is incredible and he's here and he's healthy and they were incredible.'

Former Made In Chelsea couple Jamie and Sophie, who met on the E4 series in 2017, filmed their son Ziggy's birth for their new three-part Disney+ show, Raising Chelsea, which follows their pregnancy journey as first-time parents.

But capturing the most important moment of their lives for TV wasn't an easy decision or pre-planned.

Sophie explained she had wanted to keep it private, until the emotional footage - shot by their anaesthetist - convinced her to change her mind.

Sophie said: 'I'll be honest, I said, "I'm really sorry guys, I really don't want the birth to be filmed, I really need that moment to be a private moment".

'And what happened was there were complications, and I ended up having an emergency C-section. The anaesthetist took our phone to take photos and filmed the entire thing… we didn't even know, we had no idea.

'The next day, I was looking at all the photos of the birth, and I was like, "oh my God, there's an 11-minute-long video". I pressed play, and it was so emotional.'

Jamie, who admits he enjoys being followed by cameras and believes storytelling lies at the heart of everything he does, confessed that even he was surprised by how in love he and Sophie appeared in the raw footage.

He said: 'It was the most amazing, romantic, and what's incredible about that moment, Sophie and I didn't know it was being filmed because it was supposed to be for our own personal use, but watching it I was like, "oh my God, Soph, look how in love we are", you're seeing it from an outside perspective.

'And Soph, after thinking about it for a long time, said I think we should put that in because it'll be amazing to see.

'That was a very scary moment because the birth - I now salute all women, I walk down the street and if I see a woman with a pram I'm like, you hero. It's unbelievable.'
