We had one of those. Also broke there. They used to sell you a replacement frame but that was years ago.

I can fabricate a handle, it is really only for drilling holes through my 1944 Austin K6 chassis, doubt I will have much use for it long term................. said that before!
It says it's a model CM/300/1
Which is a Puma.

The data plate is missing from mine but it looks the same, only one LED above the rotary switch so it is not the last version, really looking for pictures of the circuit board to see what the relay looked like...........
Is the switch panel in the first post not from your drill, Pat?
These diagrams are for a Rotabroach Midi from the late 90’s, but there may be similarities to yours.
If they’re not clear, pm me your email address and I’ll scan them in and send them over. Won’t be till weds tho when I next in the office

Not from mine as missing, but looks like it should be the one, later versions have two LED's above the rotary switch,

Great, I have passed them onto my electrical mate who has the panel, main issue we have is the main relay is missing and been replaced with random componets, it was working like this but suddenly failed and is now dead, no signs of life,

The relay on mine had packed up - I bought it cheap as a spares or repair.
Try as I might I couldn't find a suitable PCB mounted relay, so I smply extended the 'legs' on a similar spec, but different pin out relay and it's been prefect ever since. It's a tight squeeze, and a bit messy, but it works.

All you need is a cheap NVR switch and a magnet on/off switch which is DPST.
The magnet switch (usually a rotary type two position) energises the magnet with one set of contacts, whilst the other set of contacts then allows power to go to the NVR switch.
Therefore the drill motor cannot be activated without the magnet on.
If you turn the magnet off the drill motor immediately drops out.
