They're all Chinese, but the Bimson is cheap, and the SIP is expensive!
It's only when you get into higher-quality brands such as R-Tech, Jasic, Lincoln Bester, that better components, quality control, and warranty make a significant difference. They are still made in China, but they are aimed at the professional market and priced accordingly.
Edit: Paton is an exception, made in Ukraine. They start at £380.Most people who have a Rohr or a Blackline, which was what the Bimson is, are still using them after two or three years - or have finished/given up on the repair job, and sold them on.
Ah ok, for some reason I thought the Sip's were made in Italy. So, if the Sip and Bimson were the same price, which would you choose?
