CHICAGO — Adults with type 2 diabetes may have lower risk for fractures if they use semaglutide compared with other medications, according to data presented at ENDO 2026.As Healio previously reported, a retrospective cohort study found that semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy, Novo Nordisk) was associated with a 26% lower risk for fractures than sleeve gastrectomy for people with obesity.
