Chris Martin's nepo baby son Moses is following in his Coldplay singer dad's footsteps by fronting his own successful band. 

Moses, who is also the son of Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, is part of alt-rock group People I've Met. 

The nepo baby and his pals Andrew Suster and Orlando Wiltshire have recently been snapped up by Interscope Records and the group have released their first single, Promise, through the label.

The track is far from the pop melodies Coldplay are famous for and features a more moody sound. 

Moses penned on Instagram: 'Promise by @peopleivemet is #out. So proud of this song. Endlessly grateful for the band and @noahconrad for helping to make this song so special.

'Hope you enjoy. Sincerely, Moses Martin.'

The band's label is also home to the likes of Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John and Lady Gaga.

Moses's band People I've Met launched last year with the name Dancer, but the group soon changed their name.

Moses's vocals are strikingly similar to his dad's and he's certainly used to the limelight, having joined the 7-time Grammy Award winners Coldplay on stage at Glastonbury in 2016.

The 19-year-old has also sung on a string of Coldplay's songs and has written on tracks All My Love, Orphans and The Astronaut.

Meanwhile Moses's older sister Apple, 21, has also entered the music industry as she released a new music video after her debut was slammed as an 'off-key drunken karaoke performance' last year. 

The nepo baby attempted to follow in the massive footsteps of her father Chris as she kickstarts her music career.

Apple dropped the visuals for the single Satellites in collaboration with indie rock duo Jade Street - comprised of Eli Meyuhas and Zachary Zwelling - on Tuesday.

Gwyneth, 53, and Chris, who were married from 2003 to 2016, are parents to Apple and her brother Moses.

Coldplay has scored seven Grammy Awards and nine Brit Awards and sold more than 160 million records worldwide, while her mother has also previously shown musical prowess, singing in films Duets, Country Strong, and Infamous.

Speaking to The Mirror last year, Gwyneth said she thinks Apple will eventually follow in her footsteps career-wise.

'She's doing a pre-law degree at college but I think she's going to follow in my footsteps,' she said.

'But the thing is with kids you have to let them find their own path and inspiration and try not come on top of them with your point of view.'

Apple repeatedly faced claims she's just riding her parents' coattails after joining her mother Gwyneth for a campaign with GapStudio earlier this year.

She then went on to land yet another high-profile fashion gig, this time posing for her debut shoot with the London fashion house Self-Portrait.

The model posed for images captured by acclaimed photographer Ryan McGinley on a farm in upstate New York, despite previously facing backlash for using her privileged background and connections to her advantage.

Styled by Mel Ottenberg, Apple wore pieces from the brand's latest ready-to-wear collection, including a white lace and satin maxi dress and a silver gradient sequinned dress.

The stunner, who is also studying at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, posed for her first collection after being unveiled as an ambassador for the brand.

She said: 'Debuting with self-portrait was a no-brainer – their British spirit reminds me of growing up in London, so it's felt like home from the start.

'Plus, the collections are gorge and approachable! Han and the team welcomed me in as part of the creative process and I am having a lot of fun learning along the way. I'm so excited for this campaign to be out in the world and for us to continue exploring this side of my creativity together.'
