Relive Daily Mail Sport's coverage of Manchester United's miserable night in Como in the Champions League.
How much more can I even say?
Manchester United arrived in the beautiful Como, with hopes of notching up their first win in almost seven weeks. They needed one, and badly.
But you wouldn't have been able to tell they were desperate for some joy based on how they started the game, and then continued for the rest of the 90 minutes.
They went 1-0 down within two minutes, and well, it only got worse from there. Much worse.
In the end, Michael Carrick's side shipped four to Cesc Fabregas' surprise package, but honestly, it could have been many, many, many more.
Now Carrick's future hangs in the balance...
Anyway, I need to head off now. Thank you so much for following along this evening; we will see you soon.
Wednesday night's Champions League results:
Cesc Fabregas, Como manager, speaking to Sky Sport Italia:
It’s a special night, but we are still at the beginning for everything we have in our minds. The team played well this evening, but we need to keep our feet on the ground and remember there is another match coming up on Saturday. I want to dedicate the win to one of our kit staff, he knows why.We must try to remain humble. We will always prepare and try to play our game, whether it’s against Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final, or with Napoli and Roma in Serie A. Preparation is fundamental, but so is the belief of these lads. It is all more difficult if they don’t have that.
This was Manchester United we were up against tonight, it doesn’t matter if they are struggling at the moment, we must never forget that some of our players were having the third Champions League game of their entire careers.
This is why the belief of these lads and their way of doing things gives me life. Winning this way is very satisfying, but this is where it gets difficult, playing the same way on Saturday in Serie A.
Right, I think it's about time I shared with you my colleague Nathan Salt's player ratings for the evening.
Like Chris, he too has not held back. I mean, the players don't desvere any mercy after that performance.

It's turning out to be quite the affair in Bavaria.
Arsenal took the lead through Eberechi Eze in the first half, but a much-changed Bayern Munich side have turned the game on its head.
Alphonso Davies equalised and in the last 10 minutes Harry Kane has just put the hosts ahead from the spot. It was one hell of a penalty by the former Tottenham striker.
Now Arsenal have to show some heart to come back into this.
I would normally try to paraphrase one of our match reports, but I think this one speaks for itself.
You must read the work from my brilliant colleague Chris Wheeler.
He was in the wet and windy Como tonight to watch Manchester United's rotten performance, and well, he does not hold back on his criticism.
Read below:

Can we talk about the Manchester United midfielder quickly?
I just want us all to remember that United spent £150million on a midfield rebuild in the summer, bringing in Youri Tielemans, Carlos Baleba and Andrey Santos.
All three of those players managed 45 minutes at the very least today, and every single one of them was bullied in the middle of the park by their Como counterparts.
Now, Baleba has shown signs of being brilliant in the last few games and tonight may have been an off game, but the other two, man, they have had a poor start to life at Old Trafford.
The failed rebuild is a symbol of United's current ownership...
Joe Cole, former Chelsea midfielder, on TNT Sports:
It was humbling for them. I said before the game that it's going to be a real test and it turned out to be more than a test for them. Like I said before, the spotlight will fall on Michael Carrick's feet, and he is not the problem, believe me.The club's rot has been there for many many years, and they [the club] need to get out of their own way. There are a lot of players in that Manchester United squad who probably are not good enough to play for Manchester United.
So when does the criticism come to the director of football? I think it's fair that you are trying to get rid of players on long-contracts, but if nobody wants them it's difficult to get rid of them at the right price.
Manchester United fans, you may well want to look away right now. But if you are a rival fan, you are going to love this...
The highlights of Manchester United's humbling in the lakes of Italy have now been shared by TNT Sports.
I doubt any United fans will be clicking on the video.
Half-time scores from the 8pm kick-offs:
These pictures say it all... need I say more?
Michael Carrick, Man United boss, on TNT Sports:
It was more than disappointing. I think everybody has got to take responsibility for that. I 100 per cent take responsibility for the overall team and the performance - that's where it stops. It stops with me and I'm absolutely fine with that. I accept that totally. But as a supporter of this football club for so long, to see a performance like that is unacceptable, I have to say.I care an unbelievable amount about the supporters. They are the heartbeat of this football club and they always will be. For them to travel, I had to apologise for the performance. To have to watch a performance like that, I totally feel for them.
There are no excuses at all. It is not acceptable. It's not about me. It's about digesting the game and how it went. That is the most important thing right now.
