fedDSP have released ECO, a delay plug-in designed to cover everything from straightforward repeats to more experimental textures and atmospheric effects. It combines a simple main interface for everyday adjustments with an advanced view offering deeper control over the character and movement of the wet signal.

ECO features 12 delay modes, ranging from clean digital repeats to tape, analogue and lo-fi styles, alongside more diffuse, phasey and modulated options. The advanced controls include drive, tone, filtering, width and stereo spread, with chorus and vibrato modulation options and tube saturation for adding further colour.

An integrated reverb section offers five modes — Smooth, Dense, Large, Studio and Eco — allowing repeats to be placed in anything from tighter spaces to broader ambient washes. Ducking helps keep the original signal prominent, while the RANDO function randomises settings to generate new starting points. LOCK preserves selected parameters, and A/B comparison makes it easier to compare different settings.

fedDSP say ECO operates with zero latency and low CPU usage, making it suitable for tracking as well as larger mixing sessions. The plug-in also features keyboard shortcut support and an offline licensing system that requires neither a dongle nor an internet connection once installed.

ECO is available now at an introductory price of £35, rising to £50 after 5 November 2026.
