СпутникиРНSpaceXРоскосмосNASAThree *very* non-techy sisters are dividing up a legacy of around 1000 paintings by a deceased artist. How to store photos of the paintings to fit their desires? They plan to photograph every painting and save the images online (they'll have help with that).
Each woman wants to control the images of her third of the paintings.
They want to be able to arrange smaller portfolios of paintings drawn from all three sets of images, to show to prospective buyers & dealers.
I'm a long-ago-techy bystander trying to advise. But I'm very out of touch and uninformed about all this. I'm ok with helping set something up but can't manage it for them. Once created this isn't likely to have photos added, but albums will be occasionally made to be shared, so is there any online store which would allow tagging or multiple ownerships and selective sharing?
For myself I use Google Photos, using albums to share specific sets of images. But that doesn't give them the independent ownerships of the images they want (difficult people!). Using images from three different Google Photo sets for a collection to show as an album would mean copying each required image into a fourth online store then making the album there, thus a lot of file copying which they may not be capable of.
Microsoft 365 Family offers 2TB for six people to share, so could be closer to what's needed, but would it be possible to assemble an album from images in several people's sets, which MS says are kept separate? (I don't know where to ask that).
Is there a photo platform which does what they want?
Any suggestions will be most gratefully received!
