It’s all going to be OK.
That was the message Giants GM Joe Schoen gave ESPN after quarterback Jaxson Dart was ruled out of Monday’s game against the Rams, following a knee injury suffered on the opening drive at SoFi Stadium.
“‘He’s going to be OK’,” Schoen told sideline reporter Laura Rutledge during the Giants’ deflating 28-6 loss to the Rams.

It’s a calming message after the QB limped off the field in the first quarter following a hit from both ends by Rams defenders Byron Young and Josiah Stewart.
Rutledge also reported that training staff had to take Dart’s jersey away from him — implying the QB wanted to come back into the game.

Giants coach John Harbaugh would not confirm the exact injury that Dart suffered — however, he did confirm that it was not the “devastating outcome” that you fear when your franchise QB is grabbing his leg on the turf and was in the “neighborhood” of an MCL sprain.

Jameis Winston took over for Dart under center and the veteran had a miserable performance — completing 11 of 27 passes for 111 yards and an interception in the end zone on a horribly under-thrown ball.

“I’m just not answering it that way because we’ll know more when we find out more,” Harbaugh said of Dart’s status.
“I think you make those decisions when you get all the information, not right after the game.”
