I’m writing in support of Mary Shannon Lindstrom to represent District 124 in the Maine State House. I had the pleasure of getting to know Mary Shannon both personally and professionally, as we served together on the Scarborough School Board. During our tenure, we faced a number of challenging issues — both economic and policy-related — and throughout it all, I observed Mary Shannon demonstrate thoughtfulness and prioritize a collaborative approach to arriving at human-centered solutions.
In the uncertain times we live in today, I prioritize trust and integrity in the leaders who represent us. While we can’t be sure what issues they will face, I want confidence in how they will face them. Please join me in voting for Mary Shannon on Nov. 3.
