A fundraiser for the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial has been flooded with donations after he spoke out publicly for the first time to defend himself for holding his ground.

Michael P. Desronvil, 48, explained Thursday that “based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing” when she fatally strangled her three young children with exercise bands.

The high-profile trial ended in a mistrial after Desronvil refused to side with the 11 other jurors to find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity.

An online fundraiser, set up by Tom Hennessey to “stand with” the holdout juror, has now reached over $287,000 as of Friday morning — with one anonymous donor contributing a jaw-dropping $10,000.

“If they come for him, and they will, this is to cover security, lawyers, and lost work,” the campaign bio reads.

The fundraiser launched before Desronvil — a father from a Haitian immigrant family and a devout Christian with a history of abuse allegations — spoke out publicly for the first time.

Since issuing his statement insisting he “didn’t have any doubts” Thursday evening, donations from $5 to $100 have rolled in every few minutes.

“A small contribution for a person who had the courage to stand his ground. Greetings from France,” read a comment from one anonymous $10 donor Friday.

“Doing what’s right against intense pressure is a sign of great character,” wrote another $50 donor.

“Thank you sir for holding it down, in the face of insanity. You’re a real man,” posted another, who gave $5.

Desronvil’s lawyer, Edward Andrew Paltzik, thanked Hennessey for his efforts to help his client, and reposted a link to the GiveSendGo campaign.

“We are deeply grateful to Tom for his noteworthy efforts to fundraise for and support our Heroic Holdout. It is noticed and appreciated. Thank you, Tom!” Paltzik wrote in an X post.

“The same gratitude extends to multiple other extremely generous individuals who took it upon themselves to come to the aid of our Heroic Holdout during these chaotic times,” he added. “We will be in touch with all of them and will be thanking every single one of them personally.”

However, the attorney, who previously represented President Trump, said he would be establishing “an authorized, consolidated, and official fundraiser for our Heroic Holdout moving forward.” 

GiveSendGo co-founder Jacob Wells said Friday that he spoke with Desronvil, whose name will be added to the fundraiser.

“I have just finished a phone call with the lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy case,” Wells wrote on X.

“The Lone Juror is being added to the campaign as the recipient. His identity has been verified. Thank you all for your generosity to this campaign. Keep Shining Brightly!”

In an earlier post, Paltzik warned that, “Any and All GiveSendGo or GoFundMe accounts that purport to be operating on behalf of our courageous lone holdout juror American Hero and Champion of Justice are 100% FAKE, or at minimum, were created by well-meaning individuals who we are not yet in touch with.”

Desronvil was thrust into the spotlight after his 11 co-jurors blamed him for the mistrial being declared.

NBC Boston reported on domestic violence allegations that he hurt his then-wife and nephew and had an active restraining order while sitting on the Clancy jury.

The allegations raised questions as to how Desronvil ended up on the panel of a domestic violence trial.
