CO₂ Value Europe is proud to be part of UNCOVER, a new project funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme.

Launched in September 2026, UNCOVER aims to bring CO₂ utilisation technologies closer to market by demonstrating six CO₂ conversion technologies and one secondary conversion technology in three industrial contexts: waste management, wood manufacturing and cement production.

Over the next four years, the project will validate ten CO₂-derived products for potential applications in chemicals, fuels, plastics, wood products, construction and cement, while assessing their environmental performance, economic viability and market potential.

The project brings together 19 partners from eight countries, including industrial companies, SMEs, universities, research and technology organisations, and CO₂ Value Europe. It is coordinated by the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón and technically coordinated by the University of Valladolid.

As part of the consortium, CO₂ Value Europe will lead UNCOVER’s communication and dissemination activities.
