Bradley Dale Ross II, known to family and friends as “Little Brad,” was the kind of person who could light up any room he walked into. Outgoing, athletic, and full of energy, Brad had a contagious smile and a personality that drew people in. He loved to laugh, joke, and pull harmless pranks, often becoming the life of the party wherever he went. To those who knew him best, he was the “golden child”—someone who made people feel good just by being around.

Growing up, Brad had a deep love for sports and spent much of his time playing football and baseball. He was also an avid fan, cheering on teams like the Detroit Pistons and enjoying the Harlem Globetrotters. Outside of sports, Brad loved the outdoors. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, riding four wheelers, and spending time in nature—activities that became a big part of who he was. His favorite memories were family trips to Niagara Falls and Canada, places that left a lasting impression on him.

Brad lived life in the moment. He was spontaneous, often doing things simply for the joy of the experience rather than with a specific plan in mind. That free-spirited nature made him fun-loving and adventurous, someone who embraced life fully.

As he got older, Brad became a father to two children—a son and a daughter—whom he loved deeply. He aspired to pursue a career in law enforcement and studied the field at Kirtland Community College. Brad got his motivation to study law enforcement from his dad, who worked as a security guard for country and R&B concerts. He was a big fan of music, especially Metallica.

Brad’s life was tragically cut short at age 25 when he disappeared after leaving to pick up his fiancé from work in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 19, 2004. He never returned home, and questions surrounding his disappearance remain unanswered. The vehicle he was driving, his fiancé’s silver 2004 Dodge Stratus, was located later that day when it was involved in an accident near the corner of Coliseum Boulevard and State Boulevard. It is unknown if Brad was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Gaps in the investigation have deepened the pain for those who love him.

For Brad’s sister, Crystal, the search for answers has never stopped. Her determination is unwavering, and she reached out to Project: Cold Case after discovering their Facebook page. Crystal continues to advocate for any information that can help solve this case.

After losing her brother, Crystal depended upon her faith for strength and purpose, so much so that she eventually became a minister. While her journey has helped her cope, she would like to bring Brad home to his final place of resting and see justice served for those responsible.

Bradley Dale Ross is more than a case; he is a son, a father, a brother, and a friend. He is remembered for his laughter, his love of life, and the joy he brought to others. His story continues through those who refuse to let his memory fade. Crystal says, “I would love for him to be remembered as an amazing father, brother, son, and friend. He had a big heart and is loved and missed by so many.”
