La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que influyen en el desplazamiento terapéutico hacia la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en consultas de salud mental y sexual en estudiantes de medicina de la Universidad del Zulia (LUZ). Bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional y transversal, se analizó una muestra de 357 sujetos de la Escuela de Medicina. Los resultados evidencian una prevalencia de uso del 84.9%, identificando como principales motores la inmediatez (51.8%), la gratuidad del servicio (76.5%) y la búsqueda de un entorno libre de juicios profesionales (64.1%). A pesar del uso extendido, el 78.4% de los estudiantes mantiene una confianza parcial en los algoritmos, y el 82.6% prioriza la intervención humana ante síntomas de gravedad clínica. Se concluye que el desplazamiento terapéutico en esta población es una respuesta pragmática ante barreras estructurales y económicas, donde el criterio médico en formación actúa como un regulador ético que jerarquiza el juicio humano frente a la severidad del síntoma.
