Jane Newman, Chattanooga artist and the creator of “Sit-a-spell,” has her current show at In-Town Gallery, and will demonstrate how she creates atmospheric paintings using only the primary colors, red, blue and yellow, plus white, on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 1-4 p.m. at the gallery. 

"The subtlety of effect that she achieves with this bare minimum of resources is amazing," officials said. "Be sure to check out all of Jane’s paintings when you come to see her demonstration." 
Refreshments will be provided.

In-Town Gallery is located ‘Between the Bridges’ on Chattanooga’s North Shore at 26A Frazier Ave.

Hours are Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and from noon-5 p.m. on Sundays.
