The Greater Chattanooga Council of the Navy League of the United States will hold its August Bipartisan Legislative Luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 27, from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #91, 1067 Graysville Road in Chattanooga.

Organizers said, "The luncheon brings together local leaders and community members for a bipartisan discussion of military and veteran affairs, including legislative issues affecting the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, as well as broader topics of importance to veterans and service members in the greater Chattanooga area."

Tickets are $15 per person and include lunch.
