Citizen has officially launched its new Addysen Eco-Drive Dress watch collection in the US. This stateside release follows the initial rollout of the series in the UK a few days ago. The lineup is led by the silver-tone BJ6570-50E, which features a black dial with a sunray finish and carries a retail price of $450.

In addition to the base model, the collection includes two distinct variants: the two-tone BJ6574-59E and the yellow gold-tone BJ6572-54X, which is equipped with a sunray red dial. Both of these color configurations are priced at $495.

The watches are constructed with a rectangular stainless steel case that measures 36 millimeters in length and 26.5 millimeters in width. The case geometry maintains an ultra-slim profile with a thickness of just 7.25 millimeters, providing a compact footprint designed to slide easily under a shirt cuff. To protect the dial surface, the timepieces use highly durable sapphire crystal, a material that offers significantly better scratch resistance and clarity over time compared to standard mineral glass.

Rather than using flat, printed markers, the watch face features applied Roman numerals, which add physical depth to the dial layout. The timepieces employ a simple three-hand movement and intentionally omit a date window.

This design choice prevents the relatively narrow watch face from appearing crowded, keeping the dial layout clean and uninterrupted. The rectangular case seamlessly connects to an integrated seven-link stainless steel bracelet, which is secured by a standard fold-over clasp mechanism with dual push buttons.

Internally, the entire collection is powered by Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive technology, using the E037 caliber solar quartz movement. This internal system continuously charges the watch using energy generated from any available natural or artificial light source.

This allows for uninterrupted operation and eliminates the need for routine mechanical maintenance or conventional battery replacements. Furthermore, all models across the Addysen series feature a standard 50-meter water resistance rating, making the hardware capable of withstanding daily exposure to rain, handwashing, and light splashes.
