His detractors have adopted the “Never Vance” slogan and flooded social media, especially over the past week, with attacks including claims that Vance is “unfit” to be vice president due to his efforts to negotiate a peace deal with Iran. I like JD but I think he's unwilling to do the hard work of protecting America's essential interests in the world.
Not the abstract interests like Viet Nam, Ukraine and Iraq, the hard and real interests like oil and freedom of navigation.

JD Vance is almost perfectly reflecting the political agenda Donald Trump promised on the campaign trail in 2016 and 2024. Any effort to push him aside is being led by establishment Republican sh!tbags who are despised by most grassroots Republican voters.

Why was Vance working the peace deal with Iran? Is the new Secretary-General of Venezuela too busy?
Personally, I don’t have anything against Vance. But I don’t have any reason to support him either.

i think there is some re-assessing in the GOP post-MOU but
the knives are always out at WaPo for Rs, the paper always anxious to help spread any disagreement to put party in bad light.

Same here. Most VP’s, like Pence and Kamalho, do very little. Vance is in the fight all the way.

JD Vance is a post turtle, and has been since he left investment banking to enter politics. If anything, Vance is a Peter Thiel creation, which should concern anyone paying attention.

It is not only necessary to vet the source of stories on FR anymore, now one must scrutinize the original poster as well by reviewing previous posts.
A review of this one will reveal a pattern of throwing shade on anything conservative up to and including the POTUS.
A growing trend on this forum is to cast doubt and negativity on MAGA or anything to the right.
