Jimmy Claude Hannah, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 92.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1933, in Sherwood, Tn. After leaving the Air Force he married the love of his life on February 24, 1961 and together they shared almost 63 beautiful years. Jimmy loved his family, his faith and making people feel special and loved. He was a member of The Crossing Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Maudie Hannah, his wife, Barbara Rigsby Hannah, and his son, Steven Hannah.

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (William) Arthur, Angela (Henry) Barker and Deborah Price. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
