Ryan Garcia has offered an apology to Logan Paul days after the social media star and professional wrestler sued him for defamation.

Garcia, who tested positive for performance-enhancing drug Ostarine ahead of his win over Devin Haney last month, blamed Paul's Prime drink brand for the results in a baseless social media rant.

And after Paul said in a video last week that Garcia would be 'held accountable' for his words, the boxer has seemingly backtracked his accusations.

'I just want to say I'm sorry,' Garcia said in an interview with Ana Paula Saenz. 'I just feel bad for the fight that we're going through because I've known the family for years, bro. This s***'s breaking my heart.'

'I don't want to fight with you no more, bro. I don't got a problem with Prime. I had a problem with you. I'll drink this s*** right now,' he continued, taking a sip of the drink.

Garcia's first sample came back positive earlier this month, and it was reported last week by ESPN that his B sample had come back positive as well.

The 25-year-old had previously claimed that Prime will 'kill your guys's brains,' 'mess up your guys's liver,' and 'hurt you big time.'

He even said, 'I drank Prime and I tested positive for ostarine.'

After those comments, Paul claimed his uber-popular drinks company was  'under attack' and announced Garcia was being sued.

'Today we begin to hold those accountable who've damaged our brand for attention while we correct the narrative,' Paul wrote on Instagram Thursday, alongside an image of the lawsuit filed in a Texas court.

'We're here to stay and will continue to change the world of hydration with bold flavors and creative innovation,' he added.

Prime is suing Garcia for defamation, trade libel, violations of Lanham Act, unfair competition and unjust enrichment.

As for Garcia's fight with Haney, the latter is calling for the fight to be ruled a disqualification win.

Garcia has previously maintained his innocence, but wrote 'I F***ING LOVE STEROIDS' in a possible troll post after his B sample was announced as positive.

'I don't care I'll never make money again with boxing your loss not mine for setting me up lol joke on yall,' he added.
