The city of North Salt Lake will launch its 2026 “Unity in the Community” series with a Pride celebration on Monday, June 1, marking the start of Pride Month with an evening focused on inclusion, visibility, and neighborhood connection.
The event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at Legacy Park, where attendees will find food trucks, a live DJ, music, and photo opportunities. Organizers say the event is designed to create a welcoming space for LGBTQ residents and allies while inviting broader community participation.
Pride night will also coincide with the opening of the North Salt Lake Vendor Fair, which will operate during Unity in the Community events throughout the season. Local vendors will be set up during the Pride celebration, adding a marketplace element to the evening’s festivities.
City leaders say the Unity in the Community initiative expresses North Salt Lake’s continued growth and its effort to encourage a sense of inclusion among residents of all backgrounds. Pride is the first in a series of events planned for 2026, followed by an America 250 patriotic celebration on June 8 and a Juneteenth observance on June 15. Additional gatherings later in the year will include a back-to-school event in August, the Bolder Way Forward initiative in September, and a Latino celebration rounding out the series.
All events will be held alongside the city’s regular Monday Night Food Trucks at Legacy Park, building a consistent weekly gathering space for residents.
By centering Pride at the start of the series, North Salt Lake signals an ongoing pledge to visibility and inclusion, laying the tone for a summer of community-focused events.
