Hello everyone! I've just joined and have been looking to connect with expats and learn from their experiences. I am American who just recently completed dual citizenship and received my passport. My husband and I are starting to plan on making the move in about 2 years, sooner if we can. One question I have been wondering on is for professionals who made the move.

Hello everyone! I've just joined and have been looking to connect with expats and learn from their experiences. I am American who just recently completed dual citizenship and received my passport. My husband and I are starting to plan on making the move in about 2 years, sooner if we can. One question I have been wondering on is for professionals who made the move.

Congratulations on your recent goal of US citizenship. Where are you and your husband planning on moving to? Looking forward to hearing more about you.

Thanks for introducing yourself. But 'making the move' to where? Malta?
You previously ask about UK national insurance too, but I see you're in Pakistan now, so where are you a dual citizen with?

Thanks Rete . We are currently looking to move to EU but haven't yet decided where. That's why I joined the forum to get a piece of advice before making our move.
And about the guidlines, I have already read them and I'm following them for sure.

I'm not a dual citizen, currently we are in Pakistan enjoying our holidays. I'm a US citizen and we were also considering UK at a point to relocate that's why I asked that question.

My bad, right now I'm chasing the dual citizen status. Is this forum has a separate section for discussions about dual citizenship?

Your posts are very confusing. First you state you are a dual citizen, one citizenship being the US, then you state you are not a dual citizen. What citizenship/s do you have? What country to you wish to move to?

In another post the OP states they live in the UK and are contemplating moving to Malta.....

US citizen looking for real experienced advices about moving to EU. And Me and my husband are so far considering Malta as we feel like it is pretty much what we are after.

You say you've just obtained US citizenship and a US passport, so I assume you've now lost citizenship for the country you were originally a citizen of, it's one that doesn't allow dual? If you can give u a bit more background on both of you, it would be helpful so people can advise you on visa options.
