Amazon’s Prime Video has acquired Argentine thriller film El beso de Judas for Italy and all of Latin America from distributor EO Media.

Released in theatres last year, El beso de Judas (The Kiss of Judas) is a police thriller written and directed by debutant Martin Murphy.

The film stars Damián de Santo, Alfredo Casero, Martín Campilongo, Freddy Villarreal, Adriana Salonia and Fernando Lúpiz, and combines elements of crime, suspense and psychological thriller.

The story follows a man who embarks on a mission of revenge after a failed ransom payment ends with the tragic death of his wife and young daughter.

Frustrated by a police investigation that is progressing too slowly, he decides to uncover the truth on his own, bringing to light unexpected secrets and betrayals.

Production and distribution company EO Media, which handles worldwide sales, is led by Ezequiel Olzanski.
