On 14 May 2025 this year’s undergraduate Group Project Presentation Day brought students together for an impressive showcase of creative, technically ambitious work, allowing students to demonstrate how they have applied their learning to tackling real-world challenges using computer science.

From AI-powered personal styling tools to virtual reality platforms for exploring complex datasets, the presentations reflected the breadth and originality of ideas developed across the cohort. Two projects were selected for prizes:

  • Team 2 (Project Q: AI-Powered PDF Sustainability Report Analysis) received an award for their clear and engaging presentation, as well as for delivering a polished and complete product.
  • Team 16 (Project L: Intelligent Hot Desk Management System) were recognised for developing a well-considered algorithmic approach and a fully functioning user interface.

We are proud of all the students who presented and grateful to the industry partners who supported this year’s projects: Capula Investment Management LLP, Squid Software, Foster + Partners, APEXE3, Dojo, OxFORD Asset Management LLP, MyCFO.ai, ILookGoodApp, Kuehne+Nagel, Micro:bit Educational Foundation, Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Ample and Ab Initio.
