The engineering division of Rosatom - Atomenergomash JSC signed a Memorandum of understanding with the major Italian Mechanical Engineering & Critical Process Equipment Manufacturing company BELLELI ENERGY CPE. The signing took place at the ATOMEXPO forum. The document provides for the development of cooperation between the parties in the engineering, manufacturing and supply of Critical Process Equipment primarily for the Oil & Gas market in Russia and abroad.

"We expect that our cooperation with one of the leading European engineering & manufacturing companies will allow both parties to get additional technological advantages, the result of which will be joint integrated projects, both in Russia and in foreign markets, "said Alexander Rantsev, first Deputy Director General for nuclear energy and new businesses of JSC Atomenergomash.

“Import Substitution Requirements in Russian Federation and in general for Main Russian CAPEX Investors in Oil&Gas, Fertilizers and Nuclear Markets has become a fact in recent years. This new requirements demand new approaches in know-how transfer, project execution and manufacturing approaches. Belleli believes that this MOU is a first step to implement this Joint approach with Rosatom-Mechanical Engineering Division group efficiently for Russian and CIS Investors benefit” said Paolo Fedeli, CEO of Belleli Energy CPE.

In accordance with the document, the parties plan to cooperate in the implementation of projects mainly in the Oil & Gas market in Russia and CIS countries. In particular, the possibilities of joint design, engineering and production of Process Catalytic and Tubular Reactors, Heat exchangers and other process static equipment for oil refining, petrochemistry and gas monetization will be considered. Also, the companies will consider the possibility of partial localization of production of equipment that is not produced in Russia at the enterprises of JSC Atomenergomash.
