The fate of Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's reality show has been revealed after a string of explosive rows which left fans open-mouthed.

Stacey & Joe hit BBC One back in April and was followed by a second series in September this year.

The programme follows the life of the married couple, who started dating back in 2016, and their kids Rex, six, Rose, four, two-year-old Belle, as well as Stacey's sons from previous relationships Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 13.

BBC iPlayer's synopsis reads: 'The beautiful chaos of life at Pickle Cottage. With lots of kids, plenty of animals and two busy parents, there's loads of love and laughs at Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's.'

Fans will be very happy to know that it could be back on our screens very soon.

A TV insider told The Sun: 'There’s a definite hunger for these celebrity-based At Home With. . . style shows, with both Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy also getting their versions.

'But Stacey, with hubby Joe, is blazing a trail.'

Back in May Stacey had reportedly regretted agreeing to take part in her reality TV series, after the show was met by criticism.

Stacey and Joe have been insistent on showing both the ups and the downs, explaining that they weren't 'trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle'.

However, according to The Sun, the TV presenter had some serious regrets about being so open, following some negative reactions from viewers.

A source said at the time: 'Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.'

It is alleged that Stacey is concerned about how she and Joe are coming across in their arguments, with Joe's lack of time management and ADHD struggles clashing with Stacey's love of extreme organisation.

A friend told the publication: 'She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown up’. It’s caused friction.'

One episode saw Stacey devastated by Joe not showing up at an important meeting, leaving her juggling caring for the babies while trying to plan the launch of her own perfume.

At the start of this year Stacey confirmed their new reality series

Stacey and Joe got engaged in 2020, and the pair tied the knot at Pickle Cottage in Essex two years later

Despite begging him not to let her down beforehand, the EastEnders star is five hours late after going fishing with his friends.

Speaking to OK! ahead of their show, Stacey and Joe revealed viewers will get to witness them arguing on camera, explaining it was important to them not to cut out rows like other couples would be tempted to.

Joe said: 'So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It's our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It's not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.'

While Stacey added: 'What you see is what you get. What we've learnt about each other is that we're not a perfect couple. We've never said we're a perfect couple, but you get to watch yourself back, which is something that doesn't happen often.'

At the start of this year Stacey confirmed their new reality series.

Writing on Instagram, the Loose Women star said: 'A new year. A very new adventure. Coming Spring 2025. We’ve been so nervous & excited to share this. Here is us. All of us.

'In 2024 we opened up our home & made a series about our lives, family, work & everything in between.

'It was a huge leap into the unknown & it’s been an absolute whirlwind making it. But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more & do things we’d never done.

'We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too. So here we go. A journey with us every second of the way.

'Through the laughter the tears & the craziness… We hope it makes you smile, feel good & hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more.'

Then in May it was confirmed that the programme would return for a second series despite sparking backlash from viewers.

The couple said: 'The biggest thank you to every single person who watched the first series of Stacey & Joe...

'We've been so grateful for all the lovely messages and we're so excited to bring out another series with the BBC.'

Stacey and Joe got engaged in 2020.

The pair tied the knot at Pickle Cottage in Essex two years later.
