The proposals were cleared at the 20th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Wednesday.

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved 25 industrial projects involving investments of ₹2,08 lakh crore crore, with the potential to create 21,627 direct jobs.

The proposals were cleared at the 20th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Wednesday.

Three data centre projects in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli account for ₹1,75,330 crore, or over 84 per cent of the total investment approved.

ReNew AP Green Data Center will invest ₹85,200 crore in Anakapalli district and create 1,880 jobs. Data Center Holdings India has proposed a ₹58,743-crore project in Visakhapatnam, generating 1,250 jobs, while AM Intelligence Labs will invest ₹31,387 crore in Visakhapatnam and provide 1,000 jobs.

Other major proposals include Waaree Clean Energy Solutions’ ₹15,000-crore project in Kakinada district, expected to generate 1,500 jobs, and Agastya Green Energy’s ₹7,799.96-crore investment in Kurnool, with employment for 1,000 people.

Coromandel International will invest ₹2,125 crore at Moolapeta in Srikakulam district, while Akshat Green Tech plans a ₹1,600-crore project in Visakhapatnam. Jackson Green Renewable will invest ₹1,533 crore in Kurnool.

AIL Dixon India’s ₹450-crore project at the Kopparthi Cluster in Kadapa district is projected to create 7,000 jobs—the highest employment commitment among the approved proposals.

VPR Mining Infrastructure’s ₹500-crore private park at Manubolu in Nellore district will create 2,000 jobs, while Prisoal Agro Industries’ ₹330.71-crore project in Nellore will generate 1,110 jobs.

Naidu directed officials to credit industrial incentives into escrow accounts from December. While incentives were necessary to promote industries, the government should assess the extent of support that could realistically be provided, he said.

The Chief Minister also asked officials to attract investments in emerging sectors such as green ammonia, lithium batteries and robotics. Munoth Lithium Battery will invest ₹500 crore in Tirupati district and create 240 jobs.

Plans should be prepared to locate industrial projects in rural areas to ensure regional development, he said and instructed the officials to complete the remaining 37 MSME parks by September, making industrial parks available in all 175 Assembly constituencies, and expand the One Family–One Entrepreneur programme.

Water projects

Naidu said the data centres proposed in North Andhra would require only 3.5 TMC of water and asked officials to counter misconceptions about their water consumption. Industries in Visakhapatnam would receive water through gravity flow from the Polavaram Left Canal, he said.

The Chief Minister also directed officials to complete Moolapeta Port by December and integrate logistics, modern warehousing and cold-chain facilities. Road, rail and port connectivity should also be strengthened to help horticultural produce from Rayalaseema reach international markets, he added, according to a release.
