KRAFTON India has officially announced a new collaboration bringing popular Indian content creator CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) to BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) as a fully playable in-game character. The collaboration marks the first time an Indian creator has been introduced into BGMI as a playable character rather than simply appearing as a cosmetic skin or cameo.
The limited-time BGMI x CarryMinati event will run from 15th August to 13th September 2026, introducing new gameplay experiences, themed items, character content, voice packs, weapons, and vehicles across BGMI’s WOW and Classic modes.

Unlike conventional celebrity collaborations that typically add outfits, skins, or promotional items, the new collaboration integrates CarryMinati directly into the gameplay experience. Players will be able to interact with CarryMinati-themed content across multiple game modes during the event period.
The collaboration also features a unique creative partnership. The entire BGMI x CarryMinati Collection, including character models, boss mechanics, outfits, weapon skins, vehicles, and voice packs, has been designed by Indian anime channel NotYourType (NYT).
The collection follows the visual theme of “where frost meets flame,” combining icy blue and gold elements with fiery red and orange accents.
CarryMinati WOW MapThe collaboration introduces a dedicated CarryMinati WOW Map, offering a 2v2 Team Deathmatch experience focused on close-range shotgun combat.
The map also includes interactive traps inspired by CarryMinati’s brand aesthetic, adding additional gameplay elements beyond standard Team Deathmatch combat.
CarryMinati Boss Battles In Classic ModeCarryMinati-themed content will also extend to Classic Mode. Players on Erangel and Livik will be able to encounter an in-game CarryMinati Boss and take part in squad battles against the character.
Players who defeat the boss and complete specific “Play & Win” challenges can earn CarryMinati Tokens. These tokens can then be used through the dedicated CarryMinati Exchange Event to unlock exclusive collaboration items.
BGMI x CarryMinati CollectionThe collaboration introduces a wide range of themed content across outfits, cosmetics, weapons, vehicles, audio, and emotes.
OutfitsDuring the collaboration period, BGMI players will also be able to access UC discount vouchers worth 20 UC, 30 UC, and 50 UC.
The vouchers can be redeemed up to five times per user and used for the dedicated CarryMinati Spin event.
The BGMI x CarryMinati collaboration adds another major crossover to BGMI’s 4.5 season, which has already featured collaborations involving Ferrari, NARUTO, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. With CarryMinati becoming the first Indian creator to receive a fully playable character integration, the collaboration brings a significant creator-focused addition to the game.
Speaking on the collaboration, Ajey Negar (CarryMinati) said, “Gaming has always been a huge part of who I am. I have played, laughed with gamers and spent years with fans of the BGMI community. But becoming a character inside a game that has been a part of my life for years? That’s a different level altogether. What I loved about this collaboration is that nobody tried to make me fit into BGMI, they dropped me into the lobby. The team at KRAFTON India and Not Your Type has obsessed over every little detail, making sure the personality, the attitude and even the madness feel authentically me. It’s basically me, but bigger, bossier and louder! I can’t wait for everyone to squad up, take on the boss, and have a blast. See you all in the Battlegrounds. Let’s go!”
Srinjoy Das, Director, Marketing and Product Management, KRAFTON India, said, “Gaming today doesn’t exist in isolation, it lives alongside creators, memes, livestreams and the communities that shape internet culture every single day. CarryMinati has been at the centre of that cultural conversation for years, making him a natural fit for BGMI. Rather than simply featuring him in a campaign, we wanted to build an experience around him; one that players could engage with, recognise instantly and genuinely feel a part of. Together with NYT, we’ve created something that celebrates fandom and giving players moments worth talking about – in a way only gaming can.”
