It's been nearly 24 years since Halle Berry emerged from the ocean in a barely-there orange bikini in James Bond: Die Another Day.

And still to this day, Halle continues to showcase her envy-inducing looks at the age of 60.

Halle, who celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday, proves the ageing process is not anything to be afraid of as she continues to flaunt her envy-inducing looks. 

Ahead of approaching her sixties, Halle said it is a 'privilege' to age and is barely fazed by the milestone. 

She said on the TODAY show in June: 'I feel different than I thought I would feel at 60. You know, what is 60? What is age anymore? It's a feeling.

'I feel stronger, smarter, wiser, more myself, more in control, I'm the best version of myself at the moment and I'm so glad that I'm still here and healthy'.

As she enters a new chapter, what are the secrets to her flawless appearance and jaw-dropping figure?

The actress is on a mission to 'not be erased' in Hollywood as she enters a new decade.

'You get to this age where you feel like you're being marginalized, devalued. You feel it at work. You feel it from society', Halle told The Cut earlier this year.

'But I have adamantly decided I am not going to allow myself to be erased. That's why I'm on my menopause mission. I'm going to be louder than I have ever been.' 

She has become a leading advocate for menopause and perimenopause awareness after her own suffering with brain fog and exhaustion.

In her mid-life, Halle has modified her diet and incorporated strength training into her regime to combat her symptoms.

Halle adopts a strict keto diet, daily high-intensity workouts and a consistent four-step skincare routine. 

Her strict eating plan has helped her manage her diabetes, ever since she was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 22.

When she was diagnosed, Halle transitioned into a low-carb, high-fat keto diet and went completely cold-turkey with sugar. 

She told Women's Health: 'My health was on the line, so I went cold turkey on my sugar-filled ways. Out the window went the candy, the desserts, and even super-sweet fruit.'

Halle added: 'I know some of you are wondering, "how could you ever swear off bread?". But just like with sugar, when you give your body enough time without it, your palette changes and it loses its appeal.'

For nearly two decades, Halle's diet has since consisted of steak, lamb, chicken, eggs and lots of leafy greens. 

According to her personal trainer - who she calls her 'secret weapon' - Halle works out five days a week consisting of yoga, strength training, cardio and martial arts.

The youthful movie star changed up her routine and added weightlifting after entering menopause.

'I used to do a lot of cardio', she said previously. 'Right now, I'm trying to put muscle mass on, so I lift weights now, and I never used to lift weights before.

'I only did my own body weight and cardio like cycling and running. Now I just do pretty much boring – what I find boring – but it's necessary for this stage of life, really just heavier weights than I've ever lifted, and I do it probably two days a week at least.'

Halle also credits her genetics for giving her age-defying attributes.

She wrote on Instagram in 2018: 'So many of you are asking how I have managed to stay in great shape over the years. Well, part of it is genetics, that's true.

'I was a gymnast growing up, and that certainly has helped, as I have always been very athletic. 

'I have worked with many trainers over the years and learned a lot from each of them.' 

Halle's spouses include Olivier Martinez (2013–2016), Eric Benét (2001–2005) and David Justice (1993–1997).

She is now engaged to musician Van Hunt. The couple started dating in the summer of 2020. Last year, she confirmed they are engaged to wed.

Halle has two children: Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry and Maceo-Robert with former husband Martinez.
