Anton Zaslavski—the Russian-German DJ and record producer better known to his millions of fans as Zedd—sold his contemporary residence in the mountains above Beverly Hills in early 2023. He later relocated to a Nordic-inspired mansion in the Los Angeles suburb of Encino before selling another Encino home he had purchased in 2021 from Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner to Meghan Trainor.

The buyer of the Zedd’s 90210 estate was award-winning writer and producer Kenya Barris, the creative force behind the hit TV show Black-ish. Initially priced at $26.5 million, Barris ultimately secured the Benedict Canyon spread for $18.4 million—a substantial discount, but still $2.4 million more than Zedd had paid. Now, a little more than three years later, Barris has placed the property back on the market for $20.8 million, with Pam Lumpkin of Compass representing the listing.

Set beyond gates at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac on a 3.2-acre hillside parcel just below Mulholland Drive, the five-bedroom, nine-bath house was built in 2016. Roughly 11,000 square feet across two levels showcases high ceilings and vast walls of glass offering sweeping mountain and ocean views. Glitzy amenities include a soundproof movie theater with a 4K laser projector, a billiards room, and a rooftop deck.

A long walkway leads past a reflecting pool on its way to the wooden front door, which pivots open to an atrium with a water feature and an olive tree. From there, a step-down great room includes a fireside living area adjacent to a kitchen outfitted with two built-in Korean barbecue charcoal grills. A secondary prep kitchen connects to a brick-clad dining room topped with a wood-paneled ceiling.

A sculptural floating staircase heads up to the posh primary suite, which spans the entire floor with a fireplace, private balcony, dual walk-in closets, and a steam shower-equipped bath. Four additional bedrooms on the lower level open to the turf-clad yard hosting an infinity-edge pool and spa, an alfresco dining and kitchen area, and a fire pit. A standalone one-bedroom, one-bath guesthouse and a four-car garage complete the compound.

Barris still owns two other suburban Los Angeles homes, one in Toluca Lake he bought in 2021 for $7.25 million and another in Encino he paid about $2.9 million for in 2017.
