Perez Hilton’s mother has filed for temporary custody of his three children following his livestreaming of his mental health crisis.
His three kids, his niece, and his sister were all inside his Miami-area home just before the livestream, and relatives pulled the children out once they saw what was happening. Now the family says he can’t safely care for them until he’s well again.

Perez Hilton’s three children were inside his Miami-area home shortly before the livestream that put him in the hospital, along with his niece and sister, and relatives rushed to remove the kids once they realized he was in a severe mental health crisis.

His mother and sister have practically raised those children for years, according to sources who spoke to Naughty But Nice, and both are now moving to give them a stable home while he gets treatment. “What those children experienced was deeply traumatic,” one source said. “They should never have been anywhere near that situation.”

Family members are documenting what the kids witnessed as they weigh their legal options. One source framed the effort as protection, not punishment: “Everyone wants him to recover. But until he’s healthy and stable, the children need to be with the people who can look after them.”
