Katie Price proved you can never underestimate the Pricey as she gave an awards show host a run for her money on Saturday.

The reality star, 45, was at the 2024 Gossies Awards in Dublin with her new boyfriend JJ Slater when the show host came over to ask how she was. 

Katie wasted no time snatching the microphone out of the presenter's hand as she asked: 'Do you want me to take over the show tonight or are you presenting? There's only one Priceeeeeeey!' 

The mother-of-five then aoplogised to the host, saying: 'Do you know what, sorry have I ruined your script? That's just me I'm sorry, apparently they want me to sing live tonight as well.'

Addressing the crowd, she continued: 'Would you like that everyone? You can so no if you want. Do you want me to sing live tonight?' 

As Katie was met with a mixture of cheers and jeers, she went on: 'I don't care if you boo. It's like panto. And also I've been given this script.' 

She then switched over to her new man, declaring: 'So JJ here was on Married At First Sight. He was gonna do it with me but he's s***ing himself and doesn't wanna do it. So I gotta do it on my own haven't I.

'He's been f***ing married on telly, and it weren't for real but who knows for the real thing.

'Have I taken the show? I love you Ireland, thank you for having me, there's so many beautiful women here.'

Later on in the night, Katie made a very racy quip as she took to the stage to present the award for best celebrity make-up artist.

She told the audience: 'These nominees are the best in the f***ing business. F***ing hell.

'I am in a room with the best fucking nominees of Ireland of make-up artists. I - f***ing - I'm so wet I can't believe it.'

Hours earlier, Katie and JJ made their red carpet debut at the event and were quizzed about their new romance. 

They admitted they had been pleasantly surprised by the public's reaction to their relationship, yet Katie confessed: 'Mind you, everyone has said today that he looked like my nephew!'

JJ laughed off the comparison as he admitted: 'I've heard son before, never nephew... nephew is quite funny, though, isn't it?' 

While they remained coy on how they met, Katie mused: 'It wasn't just quick, we got to know each other behind the cameras before anyone speculated anything.' 

JJ found fame on Married At First Sight UK where he caused controversy when he left his 'wife' Bianca Petronzi in favour of bride Ella Morgan resulting in Bianca and Ella's partner, Nathanial Valentino leaving the social experiment.

The pair tried their best to make things work, but it wasn't meant to be, and at final vows both Ella and JJ revealed they thought they were better off as friends.

After pictures emerged of the Katie and JJ looking close, sources close to Ella, 29, said the reality star, who is transgender, is furious and feels 'betrayed' as she had become good friends with Katie.

Speaking about his experience on the show, JJ revealed he was 'obviously' happy things hadn't worked out with Ella because of the path he is on now. 

He explained: 'I feel like everything happens for a reason so that stuff didn't work out but I met Katie so...'

The day after their red carpet debut, Katie and JJ nursed their hangovers with a roast dinner at Conor McGregor's pub, The Black Forge. 

At the venue, Katie treated herself to a pint of lager and proudly posed with one of Conor's many UFC belts. 

The eatery proved to be a hit with the couple, with JJ taking to Instagram to share a video entering the pub that he captioned: 'what a gaff.' 

Katie confirmed her romance with JJ last month in a gushing social media post.

Sharing a selfie with JJ as the two cosied up to one another, she wrote: 'They say things happen for a reason, the unexpected happened. Fate. Ticks every box.

'@johnjoeslater you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely except me for me.'

JJ sweetly responded in the comment section: 'Fate… thank you so much for being you'.

Katie had spoken of marrying and starting a family with ex boyfriend Carl Woods many times in recent years, but she announced she had split from him as she took to social media while seeing the New Year in with her pal Kerry Katona.

As well as her recent split from Carl after the pair's on-off relationship, Katie also has three ex-husbands, Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.

The mother-of-five shares her eldest son Harvey, 21, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter, and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran.

Katie has reportedly introduced her new boyfriend JJ to some of her children as the couple's romance heats up.

A source said: 'Katie's already introduced JJ to her youngest kids. It's so important to her that he gets along with them as they're a huge part of her life.

'They've been talking for a while but it seems like it's already getting serious.'
