Katie Price revealed that she has been seeing new boyfriend JJ Slater for months as she opened up about their relationship on Thursday. 

The glamour model, 45, and the MAFS star, 31, went public with their new romance last week after a string of dates and a romantic getaway together.

Fans have continuously shared their fears that the mother-of-five is 'heading for disaster' with her new flame but she has now confirmed it is not a sudden decision. 

Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show, Katie said: 'We have now gone official. 

'It's not like I've just met him and people will find out how long we've been messaging and seeing each other maybe next week I'll tell you on the show.

'The thing is with my life, I don't want to tell everyone about absolutely everything especially when it comes to relationships because it didn't happen like that.

'I wasn't even looking for a relationship, but yeah, we can talk about that more next week.'

Katie went onto discuss that she is facing a 'lot of dramas' in her life a the minute and she is struggling to cope. 

She continued: 'I've got a lot of dramas in my life I've got a head block, I'm seeing my therapist and seeing a consultant because my head is fuzzy and I'm coping with a lot.

'Some stuff I just can't cope with which are like normal stuff that people can cope with.'

Last week, Katie and JJ attended GKBarry's final Saving Grace podcast at the London Palladium where Katie performed her single I Got You to the sold out crowd.

Following the show, the new couple headed out in London to a bar and shared a number of loved-up snaps. 

But fans were quick to take to the comments to share their fears she has moved on too fast with JJ. 

One wrote: 'I feel for her ... because you know it's just going to end in disaster'. 

Another penned: 'Just be on your own for a while Katie, love yourself.'

A third said: 'Jj desperate for fame. KP desperate for a man and to feel young!'

However, other fans came to her defence as she moves on from her years long on/off engagement to Love Island star Carl Woods, whom she split with at the end of 2023.

One wrote: 'Leave them alone....if Katie is happy then so be it....life is too short for gossip and slagging off people.....jeeze'.

Katie confirmed her romance with JJ in a gushing social media post.

Sharing a selfie with JJ as the two cosied up to one another, she wrote: 'They say things happen for a reason, the unexpected happened. Fate. Ticks every box.

'@johnjoeslater you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely except me for me.'

JJ sweetly responded in the comment section: 'Fate… thank you so much for being you'.

Katie had spoken of marrying and starting a family with ex boyfriend Carl Woods many times in recent years, but she announced she had split from him as she took to social media while seeing the New Year in with her pal Kerry Katona.

As well as her recent split from Carl after the pair's on-off relationship, Katie also has three ex-husbands, Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.

The mother-of-five shares her eldest son Harvey, 21, with former flame Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter, and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran.

Katie has reportedly introduced her new boyfriend JJ to some of her children as the couple's romance heats up.

Katie and JJ jetted off on a romantic Bulgarian ski trip, of which they exclusively shared snaps with MailOnline.

A source said: 'Katie's already introduced JJ to her youngest kids. It's so important to her that he gets along with them as they're a huge part of her life.

'They've been talking for a while but it seems like it's already getting serious.'
