She has been open about going under the knife in the pursuit of an eternally youthful appearance. 

And Anne Robinson, 72, certainly looked younger than her years as she visited a London florist on Monday.

The former Weakest Link presenter, who has admitted to having a face lift and eye lift in the early Noughties, donned a fashion-forward ensemble of scarlet trousers and a cosy grey cover-up.

She paired her bold scarlet trousers with sensible flat black pumps and a comfy-looking grey ribbed cardigan. 

The redhead carried a woven leather bag and added some glamour with a distinctive black and silver necklace.

Her auburn locks were freshly coiffed and with it, she sported subtle make up. 

The star, who was famed for her sardonic put-downs on the hit quiz show, has been candid about her love of surgery.

Anne told The Sunday Express: 'I certainly wasn't scared when I had my face lift. Why would I be when I nearly died of alcoholism 35 years ago?

'I never thought it was a big deal to have it done and I've never thought to keep it quiet.'  

The famously acerbic-journalist clearly cares about making the most of her looks and recently admitted that she felt women shouldn't care about misogynistic remarks and that she doesn't mind getting wolf-whistled. 

'I love it when men wolf whistle at me. I love it,’ Anne told The Daily Mail's Sebastian Shakespeare at the opening party for the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition, in November.

‘The way I look at it is that they’re all customers. Women need to stop being so offended by that sort of thing.

‘Actually, I don’t think women should be offended by anything. Men should be able to say whatever they want and then our power lies in our ability to either be flattered or ignore it. It’s a choice. ' 

It was recently announced that the former television presenter will appear at the Stoke-On-Trent literary festival in June where she will interview former MP and Strictly contestant Ed Balls about his new book Speaking Out: Lessons In Life And Politics. 

Elsewhere, Anne most recently fronted BBC One docu-series Britain's Secrets With Anne Robinson.

It featured episodes including Parenting Secrets, about radical approaches to bringing up children, Pet Secrets, about animal owners' eccentricities, and Body Secrets, in which Anne personally met make-up addicts, naturists and fitness obsessives.
