As far as I'm concerned, Alexa Chung is still *the* style icon. Whenever the 41-year-old wears something, I start a full investigation into each item's exact brand and style — and pray I can afford to replicate the look. It's led me to weird places, including trawling Vinted until 2am for a 2015 floral Topshop dress I just had to have.

Unfortunately, Alexa has expensive taste, which means most of her wardrobe is firmly out of my budget. But in a recent Instagram post, the It girl showed off a more budget accessory she's currently wearing on repeat.

On her Instagram story last summer, Alexa shared a pic of her wearing a pair of sunglasses from M&S that she picked up from an airport terminal pre-flight. She also got some Percy Pigs and a triple chocolate crunch bar, if you were wondering.

The style icon paired them with a khaki tee and striped blazer, captioning her effortlessly cool selfie: 'Rave shades.'

The glasses in question are M&S's Sport Sunglasses: a pair of £20 shades that are reminiscent of those worn by cyclists or runners. Available in black, the sunglasses have a semi-rimless look and are UV category three, meaning they offer excellent protection from UV rays.

The glasses are obviously great for any sporty types, so if you've been inspired by the Olympics you know where to head. But Ms Chung's caption suggests she's jumping on board with the athleisure trend in less sweaty environments, whether it be lounging by the pool or heading to the bar. After all, brands like Balenciaga and Vetements have entire lines of wraparound sunglasses near identical to M&S's version — the only difference being Balenciaga's would set you back about £250.

We're delighted to see M&S is selling the Sport Sunglasses again this year, albeit in the men's department. But hey, that's not stopped Alexa's style choices before.
