A bizarre new Netflix feature has divided subscribers, following the streaming giant's latest price hikes. 

This week, Netflix rolled out a new service called Your Zodiac Watchlist, which lets users browse the streamer's catalog based on their zodiac sign. 

The feature was launched to coincide with 'Virgo season,' which starts on August 23.

Each zodiac sign is themed around a trait, like 'hustling' for Virgos and 'adventure' for Sagittarius.  

Some of the selections for Virgos include Animal Kingdom, Queen's Gambit, and Now You See Me. 

Aries get Squid Game, Love is Blind, and Building the Band, while Scorpios have Wednesday, Untamed, and You. 

While some subscribers are embracing the new feature, others are frustrated with the superficial addition to the service following repeated price increases. 

'I am so glad I canceled my Netflix years ago,' wrote user wrote on social media in response to the announcement. 

'Although my daughter is trying to talk me back into it, now I will definitely hold my ground.' 

'LMFAO instead of adding movies people actually watch?' sarcastically commented another.

A third wrote, 'Rising sign and moon sign? What time were they born? Which house? 

'My wife will poke so many holes in this algorithm, they will have to hire her for consulting.'

Another commented, 'Netflix has had some fun categories. I just can't find anything new/interesting to watch that I haven't already seen.' 

Almost every streaming app has increased prices in the past year and change.

In January, Netflix raised prices for its ad tier subscription to $7.99. Paramount Plus did the same last June.

Max, Hulu, and Disney+ all hiked their prices to $9.99, while Prime Video costs $8.99 a month.

Last month, NBCUniversal, the corporate media conglomerate that operates Peacock, said it was raising prices for new subscribers. 

Peacock users that have an ad-tier subscription will remain locked into their $7.99 a month price if they purchase the account before the change.   

New subscribers will pay $10.99 for the ad-tier, a nearly 40 percent increase.

The premium plus plan will now be priced at $16.99 per month.

Apple TV+ is also increasing its subscription prices for viewers in the US, UK, and Australia – with some users facing a whopping 30 percent hike.  

If you're a new viewer, the new prices will be applied immediately.

Meanwhile, if you're an existing customer, the new price will be enforced within 30 days of your renewal date.

Unsurprisingly, the news has not gone down well among many users.

In fact, some are so enraged that they're threatening to cancel their Apple TV+ subscriptions altogether.

'There is NOTHING on APPLE TV. I'm canceling and all my services are apple. That price hike is insane,' one user vented on X. 

The price increase varies by region – with viewers in the US facing the largest hike.

While Apple TV+ was previously $9.99 per month, subscribers will now have to fork out $12.99 per month for the service.
