It added that the government remains committed to ensuring a seamless and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for all Kano pilgrims, stressing that adequate measures have been put in place to avoid past challenges associated with Hajj operations.
Governor Yusuf’s administration also expressed optimism that the 2026 Hajj exercise would be hitch-free and well-coordinated, while praying for the safe return of all pilgrims and acceptance of their acts of worship.
The statement extended goodwill messages to the newly appointed Amirul Hajj, his deputy, as well as officials of the Pilgrims Welfare Board, urging them to discharge their duties with diligence, transparency, and dedication.
